cable-speed scams me (imposter)

i was scammed by an impostor named cable-speed! i suggest that these problems be avoided by limiting the use of impostor names on our irc dicing forum.

he scammed me by saying he was laggy and in the meanwhile i should help him with him transfer of money. he asked me to give him 15m on his pure and he would pay me back with cable. I was convinced it was him after a quick conversation and conformation, however right after giving him the money, i saw he was a fake. I tried to get it back by playing along, and failing to do so i was saddened and attempted to get ranked and authority help from cora dyce. I have a video that will soon follow this post proving everything. All i ask is that you try to prevent this from happening to others, and if i can maybe get a refund, i would be more than delighted.

Some advise, NEVER talk about helping a host through the irc, always talk bout it in game or if it is them in irc get them to confirm themself on there host acount.

It is unfortunate u got scammed but i dont think you will get refund for this though.

For everyone reading this that have had people attempt scam them on irc just close the window and dont talk to them unless its ingame and you will be ok

It is amazing how easily you could of asked cable in game if it was him...
Like bula said, don't talk to hosts in the irc, they're usually fake.

There isn't much we can do since people can join other irc channels and pm to users in our chat as long as they have your nickname. Sorry this happened but make sure to ALWAYS confirm with hosts in-game if you are suspicious.

I wasn't suspicious at all, cause he had perfect timing and new what to say, i figured he was already on his pure and needed the cash pronto. It was my bad do, sorry m8s, i'm just hopping maybe this once i could be entitled to a bit of a refund, i was crying that night...
